Are you seriously suggesting that Obamacare would have been single-payer if not for Pelosi’s malign influence? If so, please cite a credible source to that effect. I was alive and following news at the time, and I recall Obama as consistently moderate, and Obamacare as a moderate proposal from the first, but I’m always open to education.
