Earlier this week, Trump campaign staffers shoved and shouted at Arlington National Cemetery officials.

The GOP presidential nominee’s minions objected to the cemetery staff’s efforts to enforce federal law forbidding partisan political exploitation of the country’s most sacred resting place for fallen heroes.

In this case, Trump visited the grave of a Marine Sergeant Nicole L. Gee, one of 13 US service members who died in an Islamic State terrorist bombing a few days before the last American troops left Afghanistan three years ago today.

Trump’s generic fake smile and thumbs-up gesture reveal his continued cluelessness about how to behave at the graves of the valiant — whom he derides as “suckers” and “losers” for selflessly laying down their lives in defense of our country.

His campaign further desecrated the cemetery by posting a TikTok campaign video blaming the Biden Administration for the 13 deaths.

Trump has repeated that attack line for three years now, betting correctly on the credulity of his cult and the ignorance of many undecided voters.

The facts, however, disclose that Trump himself bears primary responsibility for those deaths and the messiness of the American withdrawal from Afghanistan.
